🛡️Warranties -The Geekmatics Guarantee

​We believe in our work, which is why we offer the most transparent warranty in Palm Harbor.

1. Our 90-Day Labor Guarantee

If any replacement part fails due to a manufacturer defect within 90 days of your repair, we will swap the part out with $0 labor charge. (Note: This guarantee does not apply to Budget screens; see Section 2 for details).

2. Lifetime Warranty: New Parts

Most of our New Parts (premium screens, charging ports, etc.) are covered against manufacturer defects for life.

• Within 90 Days: If the part fails, both the part and the labor are free.

• After 90 Days: The replacement part remains free, but a standard labor fee applies for the installation.

Exception for Budget Screens: While Budget replacement screens may carry a lifetime warranty on the component itself, Geekmatics does not extend a labor warranty to these parts as they may inherently possess fit or operational deficits compared to OEM standards.

3. Non-Lifetime Warranty: Used & Specialty Parts

• Specialty/Supplier Parts: For all specialty parts, the warranty is provided by our suppliers and ranges from 14 days to one year. When in doubt, just ask us!

• Used Parts: For all used parts, the warranty is provided by our suppliers and ranges from 14 days to one year. When in doubt, just ask us!

• Reorder & Price Protection: If a part fails within its warranty period and must be reordered, we will provide the replacement part. However, if the market price for that part has increased since your original repair, the price difference will be passed on to the customer.

​4. Special Policy on Liquid Damage Repairs

• No Warranty on Liquid Damage Recovery: Due to the unpredictable nature of liquid corrosion, which can cause progressive internal failure over time, Geekmatics does not offer any warranty on data recovery or hardware repairs performed on liquid-damaged devices. These services are provided on a best-effort basis only.

5. Genuine Apple Parts

Apple does not provide a formal warranty for their components. However, Geekmatics has a proven track record with these parts; we have never had a failed Apple part within the warranty period.

6. Recommendation

Whenever possible, we recommend choosing new, premium parts for the longest protection and peace of mind.

​7. The Security Seal

A tamper-evident security seal is applied to every device we service. Our warranty is only valid if this seal remains intact. If the device is opened by anyone else or the seal is tampered with, the warranty is void.

8. What's Not Covered (Warranty Exclusions)

Accidental physical damage and liquid exposure are strictly excluded from all warranties.

• Voiding the Warranty: Any new physical damage, such as a cracked screen or a bent frame, completely voids your Geekmatics warranty.

• Timely Reporting: If you notice a legitimate manufacturer defect, you must bring the device back to us immediately. If you delay and the device later suffers physical or liquid damage, we cannot honor the warranty for the original defect.

• Book Ahead: Schedule an appointment online and receive $10 off your repair.

• On-Site & Pickup: We offer in-home/in-office visits and pickup/delivery options for local home and business tech.

• Remote Support: Professional assistance for software, updates, and diagnostics without leaving your desk.

📦 Custom Builds & Returns

• Custom Computers: Every PC we build is a bespoke project tailored to your needs. Due to the custom nature of these builds, they are non-refundable. However, they are fully backed by our workmanship guarantee and individual component manufacturer warranties.

• Refurbished Tech: We offer a 14-day return policy on most refurbished hardware.

• Shipping: High-end custom builds are available for white-glove local pickup. Custom shipping quotes are available for national ship-out to ensure safe transit.
